The cure lies ONLY in new treatments. Other things, such as support, are very important especially given there aren't effective treatments for mesothelioma, but they are not cures. Ask any patient or family member, what is the cure for mesothelioma? I bet none would say it was support or raising awareness. They would say it was simply effective treatments and erradication of the disease from the person's body so they can go living without it, such as happens with other cancers. To reach this goal there needs to be millions of dollars put into research.
