Yesterday, June 1, was National Cancer Survivors Day.  In creating this day, the American Cancer Society proudly salutes the more than 11 million cancer survivors that live across the country.  As stated by the ACS website, these patients are a "vibrant testimony to strength, courage, and perseverance." Their struggle and the efforts of their caregivers are proof of progress in the battle against cancer.
