Steele Wed, 24 Sep 2008 18:06:16 +0000 http://blog.mesorc.com/?p=364#comment-1388 My father, Bert Hopkins Sr. died at the age of 91 of mesothelioma cancer, he was exposed while working in the copper mines for 40 years, his lungs collapsed in 1970 and was placed in the hospital, and little did we know that the cause of that was from cancer, and in 1991 he was dignosed with cancer in his lungs, he was admitted in the hospital in November and three days later he died, because the cancer had spread all througout his lungs, our father never complained about his body being in pain until about 2 or 3 months before he died he kept saying his back was hurting but he didn't want to go to the hospital he kept saying he was ok, but praying for him kept him a little longer with us, until our family decided that he was in very much pain, our older sister told him, that it was OK, to go ahead and go. And he died in at 1:00 pm on November 16, 1991, My heart goes out to all the famalies that have lost a loved ones to Mesothelioma, God Bless you and comfort you. Children MUST be made the priority to protect. Dr.Irving Selikoff states: ONE, asbestos fiber inhaled into the lungs, LEADS, to cancer. Those children are the next generation and the next.What a shame and crime to knowingly allow them children to breathe something we know today. kills you. If the schools are deadly, what choice do you not have but to relocate the children and never allow this to happen again... for that next generation. Home school your kids till new clean, safe schools can be built. ALL of those schools with asbestos must be concemned.The killings have to stop and the only way is to educated the people to the truth and be there for them to make those choices that must be made for the sake of our kids. Nothing else matters to me as I die from asbestos.I am trying to leave all I can to save all I can from what is killing me and my entire family.
